Day trip to Golden Colorado

I love when we get to take advantage of a Saturday and go exploring around Colorado. There's so many places here to see. A couple weeks ago we went to Golden, CO near Denver. It was a cute historical town with fun things to do. We met up with a friend of mine for lunch while we were there too. We went to a little amusement park since they had a train for John Phillip to ride. He loved it. He also wanted to ride the horses on the carousel. There's a river that runs through the town so after lunch we went to dip our feet in. Well, John ended up taking his clothes off and bringing us in the water after him. He had the time of his life. He would have stayed there all day if it were up to him. As the boys were jumping off the rocks into the river, he was chiming in their conversations like he was a part of the group and was going to jump the furthest. They all got a kick out of him. We have quite the adventurer on our hands.
